Seating configuration

The B-Active Peugeot Rifter L2 is very flexible, thanks to various configuration options. For the second row you can order three individual seats or a bench with 60/40 split, straight from the factory. These original seats remain usable after conversion, even when transporting a wheelchair passenger. In the case of a special, extra-large wheelchair, the second row of seats can be pushed forward by up to 8 cm thanks to a rail that is also part of the B-Active conversion kit.

Of course, in that specific case, the second row of seats cannot be used. A pair of folding seats can be added in the third row as an option, bringing the total number of able-bodied passengers to seven or, alternatively, five seated and one wheelchair passenger.

Everything needed is included, such as the bumper kit (which doesn't interfere with the parking sensors), fasteners, vinyl floor, seat belt anchor points, wheelchair ramp etc. Because the conversion company can install this kit relatively quickly, the final investment for this handicap van is quite a bit lower.

There are several possibilities for personalizing your Peugeot Rifter disability car. To start with, you can opt for an extra light version of the wheelchair ramp, and its operation can be made even easier with the addition of an optional gas spring. In terms of the wheelchair ramp layout, there are two options, one of which can be folded back for a better view to the rear (folding tip), and one that can be folded inwards in its entirely for more luggage space when no wheelchair passenger is present (taxi plate). To illuminate the entrance a LED strip is available, including a switch so the light is switched on when the wheelchair ramp opens. For the bottom and sides of the low floor area, various high-quality, wear-resistant finishing options are available.

Installation

The B-Active for Peugeot Rifter L2 is a low floor conversion to provide extra space for a wheelchair passenger. To make this possible, a section is cut out of the floor. B-Style supplies a template for this task, to ensure the cut-out is made with exactly the right dimensions. The B-Active kit then fits perfectly in the Rifter and results in a lower entry level. Everything needed to perform the conversion is included. Because a clear manual is available and no welding is required, the Peugeot Rifter L2 can be converted to a wheelchair accessible van in 18 to 20 hours.
